Long Description:

This exquisite Antique Brass Thalikya Set from Rajasthan is a soulful reminder of royal Indian traditions and warm-hearted hospitality. Locally known as “Churi Supari ka Thalikya,” this piece was once a centrepiece in every noble household — offered with pride to guests during weddings, festivals, and everyday mehmaan nawaazi.

Crafted entirely from pure brass, this set features 7 beautifully rounded storage boxes placed on a deep brass thali. Each box was traditionally used to store churi (sweet betel crunch), supari, sauf, mishri, elaichi, and other mouth fresheners — served post-meal as a gesture of respect and warmth.

The central larger container often held royal churi or meethi supari, while the surrounding smaller boxes added charm and variety. This set carries the warmth of Indian culture, the elegance of Rajasthani artistry, and the weight of history in every curve.

Perfect for collectors, heritage decor, or as a wedding heirloom gift — this is more than just a utility piece, it’s a living emotion.

Did You Know

Brass is actually an alloy, not a pure metal. It’s a combination of copper and zinc, and the proportions of these metals determine the colour and properties of the brass. Known for its durability and resistance to corrosion, brass has been used for centuries in everything from musical instruments to household items. Using brass utensils can impart a subtle metallic taste to food, enhancing its flavour profile.
