A beautiful vintage Indian devotional print depicting Lord Krishna seated in a serene garden-palace setting, accompanied by female attendants/gopis. The composition is rich in charm and devotional grace, with Krishna shown wearing a peacock-feather crown and ornaments, while the surrounding figures are dressed in elegant traditional attire.

What makes this piece especially distinctive is the extensive hand-applied Aari–Taari metallic embellishment work added over the original print. The garments, jewellery, borders and decorative elements have been enhanced by hand, giving the artwork a raised, textured and highly decorative surface. The embellishment adds a striking visual richness and makes the piece far more collectible than an ordinary printed devotional image.

The scenic architectural background, peacock motif and fine hand detailing together give the work a refined period appeal. The lower left area of the image is marked “R. G. Chonker, Bombay 4,” which adds to its character and interest.
