Vintage Double-Sided Zari Work Hand Fan – Traditional Indian Textile Collectible

This beautiful vintage traditional hand fan is distinguished by its elaborate double-sided zari decoration, making it especially attractive for collectors of old Indian textiles and ceremonial objects.

One side displays a bold stylised zari motif against a deep maroon textile ground, while the reverse features a much more elaborate floral and foliate composition with intricate zari detailing radiating around the central medallion.

The circular body is surrounded by a vibrant gathered border made from multicoloured fabrics in shades of pink, red, blue, green, purple, cream and orange. A long painted handle with decorative bands completes the traditional appearance of the piece.
